Joyful Abandon

louiselweasell asked: Lately, almost every time I'm in a natural setting, the strangest things happen. Trees and structures are constantly expanding and contracting, colors have bursts of being extra vivid, and I feel like I can feel and see things with extra dimension. Almost like being on psychedelics. No one can provide me a sufficient reason, I really feel like there is a deeper, spiritual reasoning for this. What do you think?

Reasons don’t matter, just results. All that matters is that you transform yourself. These wonderful you experiences that you are having are side-effects. Don’t ponder them too much, just enjoy them as you would any other experience. 

Right now you are experiencing moments of Presence, when you are totally Here. When you are Here you can see things in a way that just isn’t possible when you are stuck in your head. This is what is causing the vividness you are describing. 

Don’t lose yourself to these experiences, though. It can damage your functional sanity. Instead, go deeper into the moment. Meditate and practice mindfulness. When you strike the solid ground of Being, these experiences will bring you into the lap of god. 

You are transitioning and this is an opportunity to seize the momentum. Don’t rock the boat by trying to draw conclusions or think up stirring thoughts, just enjoy the ride without being attached to the stops along the way. 

The first part about the path is unhinging, letting your old conceptions come loose. That is where you are, unhinging. The second part of the path is finding stability, grounding in meditation and moment mindfulness. When you have found your own unhinged groundedness, you are able to frolic down the path at your own pace.
