Here are five things I try to do every day. It has changed my life. 

1. Wake up in the morning with a smile, a laugh, or a prayer. 

2. Find time to meditate today, 45mins or 30mins. 

3. Read something that changes the way I see the world. Topics such as Being, Existence, Love, and Meditation tend to catalyze these shifts. Eckhart Tolle, Osho, and Thich Nhat Hanh have moved me on a daily basis. 

4. Do something against my reactions. Offer forgiveness when I ordinarily wouldn’t, give something to someone who needs it even if I don’t want to, get something done I have been procrastinating. 

5. Go to sleep with a brief meditation, a smile, a laugh, or a prayer. 

If you can do these five things, the world will never be the same.
