The Lazy Yogi

Restlessness…directionlessness…physical symptoms of illness…angst…uninspired malaise…

It’s adding up to make sense: initiation sickness. When you die into a new way of Being, often it is preceded by a period of fever and unrest. Whether it be the attunement cleanse after reiki initiations or shamanic transformations after entering the lower world, deep-rooted changes upset the status quo in many ways. 

Like a snake growing irritable in temper and dull in appearance before shedding its skin only to emerge invigorated and shimmering into a new world. 

I don’t pretend to know what’s coming. I feel it in my gut and I smell it in the air. Now is not the time for second guessing, only surrender.
