I started on my weird way by practicing various forms of the occult starting in the fourth grade. When I entered college, my path turned tantrik and then spiritual. 

I met my guru the summer after my freshman year in college and I visited him at his ashram in India during my spring break junior year. 

In college, I studied english with a concentration in creative writing. It complimented my path rather well and is the reason I enjoy blogging. :)
