“In my opinion, people wait too long to fall in love. With anything.”

This statement prompted a few thoughtful responses that I can appreciate. 

To continue the thought addressed by the above quote, Real Love is not a beam that you direct toward something. Real Love is a state of being. Buddha defined compassion as love plus meditation. 

Whatever you fall in love with, whatever form or activity or anything, is nothing less than a gateway to Real Love. But if you get caught up in jealousy and insecurity, you do not pass through the door. Only by letting go and surrendering will you pass through it. 

My sweeping generalization about ‘people’ is, of course, a sweeping generalization. :P Such things are never wholly accurate.
