Only by emerging from our own personal confusion can we live in this world without harming it. There are an infinitude of forms that the path through life may take. What unite us on the spiritual path aren’t our views but our intentions.

The tibetan buddhists call it ‘bodhicitta’, which roughly means awareness of awakening. The Buddha had it, Jesus had it, Krishna had it, and anyone who’s picking up what the saints have been laying down most certainly has it. It is the love that spontaneously arises when you realize that we are all on the same side. The aliveness that underlies everything has a mood and that mood is love.

The Sangha is the spiritual concept of community. Anyone who has ever undertaken the effort to find clarity for the sake of peace is connected through that sincerity of intent, bodhicitta. The saints and yogis of the past, the disciples of the present, and the masters of the future.

Therefore the Sangha is not just a group of people, or even a string of incarnations, but an awakening family unrestricted by the concepts of space and time. Sooner or later, in one form or another, we are all born into the Sangha.

Honest and devout spiritual aspirants, no matter the physical isolation, will always be in the presence of their cosmic kin. A teacher in one form; a student in another; a guru in this form; a disciple in that one; it is all just the Tao awakening to Itself.

There are endless entry points into the universal Sangha. You will find them wherever the fragrance of dharma lingers.

Consider yourselves invited to the super secret after party.

Namaste, Sangha!
