3 Things I Wish Someone Told Me in High School

1. When you know who you are beyond description, the judgements and opinions of others cannot hurt you. Get in touch with yourself without the use of language. 

2. Love isn’t what you see in the movies. It is the reckless acceptance of yourself and others, and the unbridled joy that follows. Don’t be afraid to say ‘I love you’ to anyone. 

3. Confidence means letting go and letting things be as they are. Attacking, defending, and clinging all come from a place of insecurity. 

Oh, and breathe.
